Houston...We Have Dates!

Things are jelling. It looks like we will be leaving on the 28th, (yes, next week) heading to Carlsbad. Visit the caves on Saturday the 29th and get to the campground in Houston on the 30th. Yes, you heard right. We are taking our camper and staying in a campground about 5 miles from the hospital. With 8AM pre-ops on April 3rd and tests all the next week it just made it alot easier to deal with to have a place to stay just a few minutes away. Dan will fly back and forth from Houston to Albuquerque to go back to work and come for visits on the weekends. Surgeries are scheduled for Monday, April 14th and Thursday April 17th. We are hoping Mercy will be first but the pre-op appointment will determine that. We think that there is a possibility that Joy may only have to have a resection of her esophagus which would mean less time in the hospital. So, perhaps they may get out the same time. Timing is proving to be the challenge in all this. But we are closer to the girls eating and they are soooo excited!
